Letter C

Just completed our week of letter C. This week was kind of crazy as it was my last week of work and emotions were running high. So we didn't get as much done as I had hoped. We made cookies with chocolate frosting, a calendar, a dinner of Chicken, couscous, cauliflower and carrots, plus a few things shown below.

on the farm

Today we went out with some good friends my sister included to a little farm. I went mostly to get some pictures adn just have fun with the girls while the kids played. The kids had so much fun they couldn't wait to talk to daddy on the computer to show him all the flowers, and fruits and veggies they got. Daddy was impressed with the adventures. The are both sleeping off the fun morning with afternoon naps. Aunt M and Aunt B somehow managed to escape the camera.

What can a say but they make a cute pair wondering off to find adventure and rocks.

What a beautiful group of girls, not only are the so cute but the sweetest people too.

Miss M was a big help with LIttle Miss she loved showing her things and making sure she didn't wonder off to far.

I love seeing these two together. They are both so funny and full of spunk already. Thanks for the hug Miss L.

the mind of a three year old

Little mister had me laughing and smiling yesterday with two funny things that happened. Apparently I am asking to much as a mom. Little mister told cousin A yesterday "I am to tired to play from all the work I had to do today" When she asked what work? His response was " make my bed, clean up my toys and play all day"
Oh the hard working days of a three year old :)
He was not to tired that night to do a little evangelism at dinner. We went out for a quick dinner with cousin a and the aunties to RR. When the red the bird came around Little Mister told me he had to tell him something important. I was wondering what this important thing might be... It was very important it was about his two favorite subjects.
"Red did you know you have a brain and that Jesus Loves you and is waiting for you in Heaven"
Red seem to think that was great news too.
I saw what faith like a child was all about. No fear of rejection no wondering if you have the right words at the right time, just saying it with faith. Jesus Loves You!

weekend fun/class assisment

This weekend I went on a fun adventure with my sisters and sister in-law. We had so much fun together. We went letterboxing a new tradition for us. We got to go hiking around and spend most the time laughing and catching up. Here is a cute picture of my two sisters unfortunately my picture of my sis in-law didn't turn out. Thanks girls for a great adventure and afternoon of laughter your the best!

A view of one of the trails we hiked that day.

I am taking a free online photo class and here are picture I took for my first assignment. We were to take to pictures of something in nature close up. A little hard as I only have one lens. So I had to do it all manual, no auto on these :). We were also not to do any editing to the pictures. So here they are just as I took them.
I am having so much fun already and hope to learn lot's of new things.

Beautiful B

A week full of fun b things. A big hit was waking up to the front room full balloons. We tried bubble painting but that didn't work well, just stained my finger and the kids were not impressed. Little Miss loved playing with her Barbie even in the bath. I told her Grandma would be proud of her new found love of Barbie. We ended our week with a trip to the bank. Here are a few highlights from the week.
Little Miss and Little Mister loved backwards day. We started the day with burritos and putting our clothes on backwards. That night we had breakfast for dinner including blueberry muffins made by the kids that afternoon.

Little Mister loved backwards day so much he even wore his pj's backwards that night.

We had Cousin A over again for some fun in the sprinkler this last Sunday. The kids had so much fun! I love that they play so well together it reminds me of my own cousin and how much they mean to me.

Look at those smiles.

Daddy showed them how to get a drink from the sprinkler...

Who needs the sprinkler when you can play in the dirt.

Just relaxing watching the fun from the door step.

Brought To You By The Letter A

This week we started a little mini preschool at home and the kids are loving it. They will love it even more when I work it out to get together with their buddies who are joining us in this adventure too.(sorry work stuff has filled my week) Little Mister has been asking me to teach him to read for months. So I decided we would work on his letters and sounds over the next year. The second part to it that I am really excited about is that we are also working on the fruits of the spirit, as a family we can all use help with these.:) Each night Little Mister gets a black square if he can remember a time he or someone else was patient that day. We hang them up to see how many we can get. Each month will be a new color, shape and fruit of the spirit. I am having so much fun with the kids and keeping finding new ideas. Here is some of the things we did this week.
Played together with our little people animals and worked on teaching Little Miss some of the sounds animals make. My favorite one she does is a frog, very scary frog sound:)

Making Alphabet soup

with apple pie for dessert

Painting with apples, Little miss could not stop smiling she loved this.

They worked together on this for about 40min. I love it when they play like this!

Soon the paint was no longer on the paper but all over Little Miss. Lucky for me my years working in preschool came in handy as I made it with mostly soap and very little paint.

they played in the water to wash up for so long all that needed to be washed off in the bath was little Miss's hair

Practice writing our letter a

Hope you had an Amazing week!

Happy Birthday Dad

A few weeks ago was Brian's birthday. We celebrated by going out and getting the Computer he has been saving up for. Our new computer is a mac book. It takes just a little bit of getting used to the differences but I really like it. The best part is we can chat with Grandma and Grandpa, and Uncle T and Aunt R. The kids love it and have lots of fun saying goodnight to every one. Hope you had a good birthday dad and we will not tell how old you are :)

Labor day at the beach

Yippee a family day!

Time for sun and sand

We headed down to the beach for just the day last Sunday with Grandma and Grandpa riding along. What an amazing day! We went down thinking the weather would be bad but we would enjoy the day together. We stopped at the outlet mall to do a little Children's place shopping! Next stop was Winema we got to sit right next to Miss Melney and her family that was so much fun. The kids loved see all of them and the extra time. I loved how relaxing it was just to be there and spend some time together and some one on one time with each of the kids. I took over 200 pictures so to limit it to just a few to share was hard. So here is a few of my favorites from the day.
Daddy took this when Little Miss and I didn't know we were being watched playing in the water.

Daddy and Little Mister being watched this time :)

Little miss was not to sure about the sand at first she needed to think about it for a bit.

She thought about it and sounds like fun!

Little Mister is searching all over for things to add to his "belection"

"just how big is the ocean mom"

Little Mister with Grandma and Grandpa

Little Miss loved the water so much. She wanted to play in so bad. We all took turns watch her run back and forth.

All in all and amazing family day!
