A whole hand....

When any one ask you how old you are today you answer " I am a whole hand old!". That's right my baby boy is yet another year older and I swear it is going faster and faster. Five years old! I can't believe just how grown up you are getting. You are so independent and learning so many things. Your questions and insight into life and lifetimes always have me thinking! You teach me so much! I am so proud of you and am so blessed to be your mom. Your big brown eyes and smile brighten my day! I love you bubby Happy Birthday!

here you are just 4m old!

pleasant surprise...

Woke up this morning to snow on the ground it looked so peaceful and beautiful!

Little miss enjoyed looking at the snow thru the window and stayed outside for about 5 min till she was off and ready to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory again.

Little Mister loved the snow! It is in his blood I think :)
He had so much fun with his dad, Grandpa and uncle Matt and Uncle Tim. He shoveled the driveway, made a super big snow birthday cake for Uncle Tim , and made the cutest snowman ever!

safety and fun

5. I am thankful that my kids understand safety. They hear me when I tell them to wear a helmet when on the skateboard or bike. Little Mister even decided to play it extra safe while learning to play foot ball with his dad. LOL

Yes I did notice the garbage can in the background but I was only allowed to take pictures in the window because it was boy time! Which brings me to #6 watching my kids play with their dad!!!

thankful part 1

So many of my friends and family on Facebook are saying one thing a day they are thankful for this month. I liked the idea so I decided to go with it but you know me and I had to practice my photography too :) so a photo a day seems like it may be to much for me but I will try. I know I am a bit behind so here is a few at once. Feel free to join me on your own blog or leave a comment on what you are thankful for today.

1. my wonderful Husband who is my best friend, teammate and love of my life!
2.My son who's tender heart warms my own.
3.My beautiful daughter who spunk puts a smile on my face (most the time) and her determination is admirable.
4. As individuals each unique and wonderful, together a true blessing and joy , family!

So there you have my first four, pretty obvious first four picks but I promise I will try to surprise you along the way.

halloween costumes

This year both kids wanted to be Star wars characters, Little Mister wanted to be C3P0 not an easy costume to put together!! Little Miss asked to be Princess Leia a much easier costume. I had hoped Little Miss would want to be a princess or at one point she was asking to be mermaid but her brother and daddy's influence made her want to be Leia more then anything else. Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween! We went to dinner with some family and then off to Trunk or treat at the church where the kids got to see some of there very best friends cousin A included.
Crazy Picture Time...
Please smile for mom....

Please daddy...

While at the pumpkin patch Little Miss wanted to go on the big slide. While I am sure she would have gone all by herself, she turned to daddy with a held tilt and a smile saying please daddy....

What they don't tell you is there is a big bump at the bottom that sends you right in the air. Poor daddy found just how hard you can land when he took little mister down the slide.

then Littel miss used her charm to convince Grandma...
