Pumpkin Patch

Miss C's class took a field trip to the pumpkin patch, which fell on a day Mr. C had no school. I truly enjoyed watching them work together to find their pumpkins. Mr C found his right away, while Miss C said no to almost every pumpkin we found. After looking for a while and saying no to every pumpkin yet unable to tell us what she was looking for she finally found her perfect pumpkin. She walked right up to it and proudly pointed to it and turned to Mr C and I saying "this is it, can you carry it for me?" as she runs off to play. I have a feeling there will be  lots of moments like this in her life where she will search for many things but when she finds what she is looking for she will know with out a doubt she has found it. Oh how I do pray that some of her life searches are quick and painless, or at least she knows God is right there beside her and we will be there cheering her on. Funny how small moments like these get me thinking about such big moments, I guess I just am always hoping we are teaching the things they need to make it through lives big moments while we are in the middle of the small ones.

Ballet and Tap

MIss C loved taking Ballet and Tap so the last day of class was lots of fun to show off what she learned. However as soon as class was over the tears came. She loved her teacher and was very sad to hear she would not be teaching again in the fall. To be honest I was a bit sad too. Miss C is looking forward to taking a class again this Winter/Spring term. She still loves to practice what she learned at home.

little sis

I am so proud of my little sis who graduated from PSU this summer! I admit I cried as they called out her name. The kids had fun seeing daddies old school and cheering on their aunt. Melissa I am so proud of the hard work and dedication you showed to completing school! I am praying for and excited to see what plans God has in store for you. You rock!

Lucky for us we have connections to a wonderful printer guy so we seemed to have lots of paper around our house. The kids are always drawing making books, the other morning I woke and Mr C had made a giant dragon out of paper. This summer we painted a lot outside. The never seem to run out of ideas of what to paint.

When they were done they moved on to their faces.
