December First

I am so excited for this Christmas to begin. We have so many fun things planned as a family! For our advent this year I had big plans for making our advent calander. I had all the supplies to make this by Alli Edwards....


And to make this one too originally thought of by her as well...


However as ussual time snuck up on me and this is what we made...


Inside is a 24 pieces of paper with a fun activity printed on each one. Each day we will pick one out and do that activity. I can't wait and the kids are excited too. We also started a new tradition of doing a Jesse Tree. I first heard about it on a site my wonderful Mother in-law recommended. all the info you need is right there. The kids colored the ornament for tonight but I plan on adding some store ones and other home made ones as we go.

* Honest Truth moment, the kids may be a little to young for this they were not all that interested in it tonight but maybe as the weeks go on.



Tonight we did our first adventure from our jar and went on a walk around the neighborhood to see all the lights. BRR! However we had lots of fun!!!!
