The nightlights...

The kids formed there own band and wrote there own songs for a  one night performance. My favorite part was they decided to ask for a donation and all proceeds would go to Dornbechers children's hospital. All on their own they came up with this great plan, so proud of them! The show was so entertaining and well worth the money spent. They also had a lemon aid stand later that week to sell to campers as they drove by. In all they made over $20 and hope to have another fundraiser before school starts back home. Nightlights you ROCK!

Time to get country...

Rodeo Night brings out the country in all of us! We skipped the rodeo this year but our friends went so Miss C could not wait to dress the part too. I just love these boots we found at a huge community sale. Here she is my sassy little cowgirl!
The best of friends, Mr C was not up for being in a country photo :)

Aunt Sissa and Miss Sammi even joined in the rodeo fun this year.
This family is all ready to go... cant wait till Mr Chris joins us next year :)

Wallowa part 1

New adventures this year! We have been going to Wallowa every year except for one since we have been married. Brian has been going with his family since  he was a little boy. This year we tried a few new things. On my sweet mom in laws birthday Brian went with his parents Kayaking. They loved it! In fact he loved it so much we went as a family a few days later. We will be doing that again next year for sure!

Trying to find where daddy, grandma and grandpa went.
This year we also bought a raft to use in the lake. The kids loved going out with daddy and it worked much easier then a floaty.

We spent everyday down at the lake wither it be swimming, rafting, kayaking, relaxing with friends, reading or  playing games it truly was the best way to spend the day.

6 years and a few months pictures :)

Miss C asked if her 6 year photos could be done while we were at Wallowa on Vacation this year. I was so excited I had so many ideas running thru my head. I should have known better :)
When it came time to take pictures she was less then thrilled. My normally camera happy girl turned grumpy and annoyed. I was able to get a few pictures in before she completely gave up on the idea. Even though it did not go as I envisioned  I enjoyed our time together.
I love you so much my sweet girl. You are so grown up and yet still so full of imagination and wonder. I love to watch you get lost in a book, play with your friends and organize anything you can. I love your big hugs and contagious laugh. You have big dreams and the will to see them come true. I am so proud of you my sweet 6 year old!
