Busy weekend

This weekend was full of adventure and fun we started out with a wonderful relaxing Friday BBQ with some great friends who we don't see often enough. Thanks for the fun time Peterson family! Saturday was swim class again and Little mister got to play basket ball this week.

We then got to celebrate Uncle M's birthday with a trip to see Wall.e(which dad and Little mister enjoyed while mom and Little miss went shopping to stay cool). After a nice dinner we went back to Grandma and Grandpa's for some yummy cake and great company! Sunday we got to visit with Nana and wish Grandpa and Grandma a very happy anniversary. That afternoon Little mister tried out his new bike which he said he wanted to flush down the toilet because he was to short for it :)
I think daddy helps made it all better...


Then the kids played in the "prinkler" till it was time bath and a thunderstorm hit outside.We were all worn out and ready for a good night sleep!






Friends...

Today we had the privilege to go visit our friends The Moreno's Little Mister and Little miss were both so excited to go in the pool with Aunt JuJu. Plus they even got to see Aunt Sissa. We had a fun afternoon of playing, ice cream and chatting with friends.

bath time fun

Little mister and Little miss have a new bath time game that keeps me laughing even after bath time is done. They put bath time drums on their faces and pretend to be divers. While talking to each other. Little miss usually just screams and laughs at brother but Little mister gives all kinds of directions on where to swim and what fish to look at. Last night he even told Little miss she was looking at the wrong fish "no, look at the blue fish c not the yellow one". Oh it is so nice when they play together!

Soccer fun

Here is a layout form Little Misters first sports class. They played soccer this week and I think Basket ball is next week. B and I are hoping he sticks with soccer as that is the one we like to watch :)
plus it would make his papa C so happy and lets not forget it is a Germer boy tradition. Oh well what ever he chooses we will be there cheering him on the whole way!

my first swim...

As promised here is a few pictures from swim class for Little miss. We were not able to sit by the pool like with little mister so we have just a few pictures to show from the day. Colin enjoyed watching from above and almost did not want to leave for his sports class. It's kind of hard to see but I think daddy enjoyed the few snuggles he got.

Vadar attack

So after lots of hard work Little man has earned his much awaited Darth Vadar Costume. He is still working towards the cape and belt that go with it but everyday he wears the costume around the house. Here are a few pics from the weekend. (Daddy, Grandpa and Grandma even got in on the fun)

what a day...

Today Little miss had her first swim class. Which she seem to enjoy as long as daddy kept her close. Little man had a sports class where the worked on listening to the coach and different drills for soccer. He seemed to have fun and would wave to mom as he ran by. Near the end however he would lie down or just wait by the wall because he was tired or just being 3 :) next week they will work on basketball stuff. To make the day even crazier mom and dad are very sick. Hopefully we will have pictures up tomorrow.

two post in one day

I know I must be crazy to post twice in one day but I could not help but tell you about our day today. Today we went treasure hunting (looking at garage sales) and Colin was so excited when we found one that had Rescue Hero action Figures (which you can only find on treasure hunts because they don't make them any more). His responce to the lady was "Thank you, my heart is so happy and full of Joy from God that you had my toys here." So here his a picture of my delighted little boy with all his rescue hero's at quiet time. Even with all the excitment he is now fast asleep.

Fathers day

Look at these crazy germers good thing mom is getting a hair cut soon :)
After a crazy morning at church and taking Little Miss to urgent care for what turned out to be a high fever and a bad case of croup. We spent the afternoon with the whole Germer Family and had so much Fun! We had a great BBQ and then later made smores over a fire. Plus we had so much just being out side. Even though T and I had bad allergy to show for it.

not forgotten

Last week would have been dad's 62 birthday, I couldn't help but wonder what we would have done to celebrate. Probably something at home with all the gang and daddy soaking in time with his family. As I went to put some flowers at the grave site a song came on the radio..."I can only Imagine" by Mercy Me the very same song that we played at the memorial service. As the tears streamed down my checks a smile also came across my face for the first time while hearing that song for I can truly only imagine just how happy you are praising our God in Heaven. I miss you more then words can describe.

Happy bday cousin G

Saturday we also got to celebrate Cousin G's birthday. She is big 4yr old and looking forward to going to Disneyland soon. The Disney theme party was a big hit. Good job Molly.

big news...

Bub is potty trained and can write his own name all in one week. Thanks to all of you who have helped him! Miss Melney thanks so much for your patience and help. Grandma and Grandpa you better head up to the attic soon because someone thinks there is a star wars ship waiting for him at your house...

where is summer...

this was taken about three weeks ago after little miss's birthday. We are still waiting to use the pool and wear our swim suits out side. Don't get me wrong I am not looking for hot weather but at least 75 would be nice :)

Sleep is a beautiful thing...

I am almost afraid to post this, because I don't want to jinx the whole thing...little miss is sleeping thru the night. The last few night she has not woken up at all! She has been doing well the last week as she is waking up but going back to sleep. She is sick right now so that could be why we are having such good nights. I just hoping she will stick with it once she feels better. Now if I can just get little man to stop waking up around four and climbing in our bed I may get to sleep the whole night once again. Thank you for all your prayers it is amazing just how wonderful sleep can be...

new ground...

Sorry there was no updates over the weekend. We had hoped to have potty training adventures to share but those will have to wait tell I am ready to share that journeys story. Instead this weekend we spent packing up our whole house so we could get our much awaited new ground (carpet). A few months ago I went with a friend to pick out new carpet for the church nursary and while we were there Little Man said to me "mommy I want new ground for my house too". We had already been planning on getting some as are little boy the spit up king along with a few years of wear and tear had the old carpet lookiong awful and no amount of cleaning could fix it. So after a long weekend of packing and concerns from our children that there toys were not comming back we finally have beautiful new ground. We are looking forward to over the next few weeks slowly bring stuff back in and also getting rid of lots of JUNK. Hope you are all doing well and had a great sunny Saturday.
